I have a beginner-level Spanish proficiency and am working on fluency.

Writing Consultant – UNT Writing Center

• Edit written material for grammatical, formatting, stylistic, and content errors

• Tutor students in various grammatical concepts, essay writing, and citation styles

• Teach students the grammatical knowledge and writing skills they need to edit their own content

 

At the Writing Center, I don't just look over students' papers for grammatical/formatting errors: I teach them the various concepts they need to take with them the next time they write a paper. I help each student strengthen the content of their paper, perfect their grammar, provide the correct citations, and actualize their best ideas from their mind to their paper. I have worked with undergrads, grads (dissertations, for example), native English speakers, and non-native English speakers - each student requires a unique, compassionate experience that I love to provide.
