Scholarship Winner | "Instruction Manual for Technical Communication Majors"
For a class project at The University of North Texas, we each created an instruction manual aimed at incoming freshmen interested in our major. I designed and wrote the entirety of this manual on my own.
I submitted it to the Cobb, Sebastian, Greenwell Scholarship, along with a letter explaining my piece. The scholarship is awarded to one student each year. The student must be a part of tech-comm classes. I am proud to state that my instruction manual won the scholarship.

Business Plan | "The Spa Labyrinth"
For my Grants and Proposals class at The University of North Texas, we studied business plans and how to write requests for funding. For our final project, we had to create our own imaginary business and write a full proposal to an imaginary potential funder. I researched existing companies similar to my imaginary business in order to create an accurate representation of marketing strategies, cost management, and service creation.

Freelance | Personal Marketing
These two examples of my freelance writing both focus on personal marketing.
The first document is a campaign bio for candidate Maricela Sanchez Chibli. Sanchez Chibli's original campaign text was a large, messy block of run-on sentences with no transitions. I rewrote the bio to be clearer and contain more relevant information. I also researched some interviews she gave to find quotes of hers to include.
The second document is for a client's business. Her business works with crystal bowls to provide sound-healing therapy. I wrote three paragraphs of original copy for her to advertise her services. She can choose one whole paragraph or can mix-and-match from each and create her own paragraph from them. I also provided a quote I found that goes well with her business.
